Water Asset Inventory & GIS Updates

Conducts GIS data updates for City of Shreveport’s water assets based on as-built or planned design sheets. The water assets that are updated include water mains, fire hydrants, lateral times, fitting, system valves, taps, control valves, meters, backflow preventers, casing, water structures, curb stop valves, water service connections, & sampling stations. 

Stage 1 Environmental Assessment (EA) for
the LA 3132 (Inner Loop) Extension

 

Conducts a stage 1 environmental assessment (EA) study for the LA 3132 (Inner Loop) extension for environmental analysis, evaluation and documentation of the social, economic and environmental impacts of multiple alternatives  and completion of conceptual plans and environmental decisions for the project. Extensive GIS data collection and management are required for this project, including boundaries, waterbodies, floodplains, landuses, zoning, soils, water/sewer/storm water, traffic, endangered species, Census, aquifers, DEM, fish habitat, forestry, hazardous materials route, community facilities, levees, oil/gas, pipelines, power facilities, schools, parcels, etc. 

Sanitary Sewer GIS Updates Phase I, II, III, & IV

Conducts GIS database updates for City of Shreveport's sewer system assets Phase I, II, III, & IV based on as-builts and AutoCAD design files. Versioned geodatabase was used for seamless synchronization between master and child geodatabases. Comprehensive QA/QC was employed for both attributes and spatial accuracy. Network connectivity was constructed to ensure proper sewer system gravitational flows.
